3 tips for getting your business seen in 2022
Be a subject matter expert
Your area of expertise, the area that people come to you for advice, the topic you could talk about for hours on end - this is your area that you want to be known as a subject matter expert. Provide valuable tips in your social media and blog content, speak and write about it and make it part of your elevator pitch when you meet new people. Identify that one area that you know inside out, and then make sure everyone knows that you are the go to person on that topic.
Have a multi pronged strategy for social media
Evaluate the platforms you are using and make sure they align with your goals, then look at your website, email campaigns, advertising and networking strategy. We want to make sure you are sending out the same message across all your communication and that you are not putting all your eggs in the one social media platform basket. A social media strategy should then fall into your larger marketing stagey and business plan so it aligns with your objectives and goals.
Engage with your online AND local community
Networking with others in business, your industry and community is so important. You want people to know of you and what you do. So often, I pass on work to others in the industry that I have met through networking and knowing what they specialise in. Engaging authentically with your local community not only grows brand awareness but also feels great when you can give back!
Getting your business noticed means drilling down on what you do best, having a plan and communicating online and in person so that people know about it!
