Three mistakes on Instagram that are stalling your sales funnel

Three mistakes on Instagram that are stalling your sales funnel

When you have gone to all the effort to create the perfect photo, you’ve written a witty caption that captures the the essence of your brand and you have an offer too good to refuse what could possibly go wrong?

I often speak to business owners who are doing all the things but that crucial step of moving the client/customer down the sales funnel and closer to a conversion just isn’t happening!

Here are three quick mistakes that are very common but super easy to fix;

  1. You’re forgetting CTAs - a call to action is critical in marketing copy. You need to tell your audience what to do next. Think about the purpose of the post and explicitly give me an instruction on what I should do now - comment, go to link in bio etc.

  2. You’re still putting links in captions- if I can’t click it, I can’t buy it. Send me to the link in your bio. I use Linktree to organise multiple links but there are a few available. P.S don’t forget to capitalise on that new link sticker in stories too - it takes out a step and gets you even closer to a conversion!)

  3.  Your socials drive the potential customer to the right place but your website doesn’t take the steering wheel. If you’re not closing the sale on socials (which some people, myself included, successfully do by booking in DMs) then your website needs to continue the process - it needs to be easy to navigate and user friendly. Whether I need to use the contact form to book or I’m trying to buy the service or product from your post, it needs to be simple.

Remember, think about what the purpose of the post actually is. What do you want the customer to do? Then make it super clear and easy to take the necessary steps!
