Do I need to do Reels to grow on Instagram?

If I had to pick the number one social media change that has sent biz owners into a spin in the last few years, reels would be the winner by far. 

We know there is huge potential for growth and quick growth at that. So you need to make the decision to either include reels in your social media strategy or not. If not, craft yourself a hell of a marketing plan that focuses on your key audience and communication tools. 

If reels are a yes then it’s time to create that buzz word you are so over hearing but totally need in your life - a strategy!! 

First questions: 

·         what type of reels align with your brand? 

·         what level of content can you CONSISTENTLY produce? 

·         what are you looking to achieve with this investment?

Next: 

·         do you need external help?

·         do you know your content pillars? 

·         do you have a content plan? 

Reels should be an extension of your content - on brand and relevant. There’s no point going viral on your business account for something that doesn’t do your business any good. 

So this is where you get to repurpose the content you already have and turn it into a reel. Take what you have and what your audience responds to and format for reels. 

For example: further up I asked you three questions. I could take those three questions and simply ask them in a reel and rework this caption as the caption for the reel! 

Remember, you’ll probably have few brand fans/super stalkers but most people won’t be seeing every single item you post so you can repurpose and repeat your content!
