Book Review: Beach Read by Emily Henry

This one came highly recommended by booktokers everywhere. Two former college class rivals with a simmering chemistry are reunited as neighbours with writers block and empty bank accounts.

Teaming up to help each other out by writing each others genres sets the stage for plenty of knee graves and long lingering eye contact.

I enjoyed the BTS of novel writing and insight into being an author plus we have the summer romance scenario with a darker plot line of a dead father and his very alive mistress so there’s more than just a superficial romance going on.
